How to arrive
Getting to Lençóis, your way
Bus
RecommendedTake the Guanabara overnight bus departing at 23:00 and arrive in Lençóis around 05:30. The journey is approximately 6 hours and 30 minutes.
Car
Lençóis is about 420 km from Salvador. Plan for 5 to 6 hours of driving via BR-324, BR-242, and BA-850. Road conditions are generally good.
Private transfer

Absolutely incredible trip to Vale Do Pati. Rodrigo is a wonderful guide with a lot of local knowledge, he took us to some amazing viewpoints and lodges to stay. The food was delicious and there was plenty of it. A really magical experience from start to finish. Would recommend anyone to do this tour. 10/10
We had a fantastic time on our three-day trek with Rodrigo. Besides the incredibly beautiful hike, Rodrigo was the perfect guide thanks to his positive mindset, excellent English, and honest communication. He provided personal transportation and arranged the most beautiful accommodations with delicious food. We also stayed at his and his wife's 'Mangamel Guesthouse'. Together, they gave us lots of great tips, and we are very grateful for their helpfulness. Highly recommended!
We had the best experience at Chapada Diamantina and Vale do Pati with Rodrigo. It was just the three of us and we had such good fun together! Rodrigo knows many things of the area and national park, not only because he has many years of experience but also because of his educational background (geology). Apart from all the beautiful and surreal viewing points he will guide you to, Rodrigo also made sure we arrived before the crowds to enjoy the views and waterfalls a little bit in private :) I would love to come back one day!!!

Rodrigo and Fernando, who both speak excellent English, shared their passion for the valley's nature, culture, and history. The hikes were sometimes challenging but always breathtaking, and the evenings were filled with laughter and great company. Rodrigo is a fantastic guide who makes you feel at ease right away.
