The Pati Valley trek is rated moderate to difficult depending on the route length. You'll hike 9-18km per day with elevation gains up to 500m. Basic fitness is required, but you don't need previous trekking experience. Our small groups (2-8 people) allow us to adjust the pace to everyone's comfort level.

All our tours include: certified local guide, adventure insurance, accommodation in local family homes (for multi-day treks), all meals during the trek (breakfast, trail snacks, dinner), and transportation from/to Lençóis or Palmeiras. Not included: meals before/after the trek, intercity bus tickets, and personal expenses.

No previous hiking experience is necessary for most day hikes. Routes like Fumaça Waterfall and Sossego are suitable for beginners with basic fitness. We provide detailed briefings and our guides adjust the pace to the group. Proper footwear (hiking boots or good sneakers) is essential.

The dry season (April to October) offers the best hiking conditions with clear trails and comfortable temperatures. The rainy season (November to March) brings more dramatic waterfalls but some trails may be muddy. We operate year-round and adapt routes based on conditions.

How do I get to Lençóis from Salvador?

Accepted Answer

The easiest way is by overnight bus operated by Guanabara, departing Salvador at 23:00 and arriving in Lençóis around 05:30 (6.5 hours, ~R$120-150). Alternatively, you can drive (420km, 5-6 hours via BR-324 and BR-242) or arrange a private transfer with us.
